Up Clause:
This is when a full-time family has interviewed and shown interest in using SFCC services. The last Part-time person will be asked if they want to fill the full-time spot or not. If not, with the other families paid enrollment fee and committed to join SFCC, the part-time/drop-in family will be given a 2-week notice.
Shut Down:
Sonshine Family Child Care may be forced to close down temporarily because of extenuating circumstances such as a public health emergency, such as the coronavirus. This may happen becuase I am forced to shut down by a government agency, or becuase I believe it is in the best interest of our families that we do so. In the event that SFCC is shut down all parents must continue to pay their current contracted rate. Those who choose to leave SFCC and do not stay in contract with SFCC are not gauranteed a spot when they want to come back. If choosing to give notice of leaving, you need to follow the 4 week notification with 4 weeks of full payment.

Fees are to be paid in advance on Monday for the following week's services. If a payment is late, payment will be paid the next day unless other arrangements have been made. If other arrangements have been made, the payment is due within the next 5 working days or your contract will be terminated.
An additional late fee of $60.00 will be charged if the payment is by check and the account is overdrawn. In addition, any other charges from the bank will be the responsibility of the person who issued the check. If a portion of the fee will be paid by a third party, such as an employer or the county, that payment will be accepted on a separately arranged schedule, described on the contract.
