Here is an example of how I break down my age groups and worked out the rates. I use the county rates that they publish as the minimum. I use a 40 hour wk and go from there. We have not had any pay increase in our county for 2 years, so I have increased my rates and now have decreased them to better help out the families.

Because of the hard times clients have been having and wanting to help; I have adjusted my rates to better meet their needs. I hope this helps.

ALL CHILDREN ANY AGE

$172.5             week (average week of 40 hours of work)

$35.00             day (any part up to 8 hours) includes drop-in

10 % off for full-time auto deposit -weekly/Bi-weekly/monthly payments

You can do one day a week or five days a week. Full time clients are guaranteed a position. If you are less than full–time you have to give me your schedule one month in advance to secure you spot. If you are late your spot will not be guaranteed.

Preschool Children or Before and after school care

$150.00         per week     

Hourly Rate:    $7.50/hour (calculated on the quarter of hour)  2 hours minimum.

10 % off for full-time (M-F) auto deposit -weekly/Bi-weekly/monthly payments

*All drop-in fees are payable at the time the child is dropped off

Late pick up Fee: $15.00 per 1-15 minute interval, 16-30 minutes $30.00 (Or any fraction thereof) per child.

            The family needs to give a two-week written notice of anticipated absence/vacation, a holding fee of $15.00 per day, per child will be charged in lieu of the contracted rate.  Holding fees may be used for a maximum of 10 days per year.

            Fees are to be paid in advance on Monday for the following week's services.  If a payment is late, payment will be paid the next day unless other arrangements have been made. If other arrangements have been made, the payment is due within the next 5 working days or your contract will be terminated.  An additional late fee of $40.00 will be charged if the payment is by check and the account is overdrawn. In addition, any other charges from the bank will be the responsibility of the person who issued the check. If a portion of the fee will be paid by a third party, such as an employer or the county, that payment will be accepted on a separately arranged schedule, described on the contract. The financial terms are final upon signing of the parent-provider contract. If parent or legal guardian is under age 18, a cosigner must sign the contract to act as guarantor to the contract, and agree to be bound by all financial terms. Families will receive a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice for rate increase.
